The Ten-Cent Plague

I recently had a chance to listen to the audiobook version of The Ten-Cent Plague [Amazon Link]. I started collecting comic books in the mid 1980s so I had no idea of some of the crap the early pioneers in the industry had to go through.
Starting from the very beginning, this book chronicles the rise and eventual decline of the comic book industry. In listening to the audiobook, it’s interesting to see how in many ways, it parallels the video game industry.
If you’re interested in an unconventional history lesson, I think this is a good read.
