Mac Pick: Evernote

Evernote

Evernote is a well designed application for the digital pack rat. It’s able to easily capture, organize, and synchronize bits of information.

Whether it’s through the web, a Mac, PC, or iPhone, this app centralizes all of your data to one user account so that it’s accessible almost everywhere.

A basic account is free. For a few bucks per month, you can upgrade to a premium account and get extras that include an upgrade to your uploads.

If you’re the kind of person who prefers to have information localized to your computer’s hard drive, then there are better options like Yojimbo. But if you use a variety of platforms and like having your information follow you, then Evernote is a great fit.
