Ars Technica is reporting that iLife ’09 is quietly going Intel only. I think it’s about time.
In the past, Seagate was my preferred hard drive brand. They offered good performance and stellar reliability. Then late last year, my Seagate notebook drive suddenly crashed and while the drive in my current Macbook is also a Seagate, I plan on looking at other brands during my next upgrade cycle.
Designed by Rainer Spehl, these cases are a bit extravagant but based on the specs, the level of protection offered is excellent .
It’s almost a lock that we’ll see an update to the iPhone this coming Monday. Rumored updated specs include 3g and GPS. Other possible WWDC items include the announcement of OS X 10.6.
I’ve never defragmented any of my Mac hard drives. I figure I’d wait until my Mac started feeling slow and bloated, then I’d spring the big bucks to get a hard drive utility. Fortunately, that event has yet to occur.
