A while back, I wrote a post on how to import a DVD into iMovie ’08. This solution worked well but I think Apple released a software update that caused this method to often crash. With the release of iMovie ’09, I thought I’d give it another go.

This is a simple but highly effective tip for those interested in capturing screenshots. Whenever you want to capture a portion of whatever is on your screen, press: command-shift-4. You’ll be present with a set of crosshairs. Now click and drag those cross hairs over the part of the screen you want to capture.
One annoyance of the white Macbook is how dirty the palm rest can get. I wash my hands regularly but it only took a month or so for the palm rest assembly to slightly darken in appearance.
